Solana Beach has a Neighborhood Traffic Management Program to help residents manage traffic issues in their neighborhood. The Program is aimed to make streets safer for all users, including bicyclists and pedestrians.
To get started, residents should submit a Community Request Form online noting the specific problem, location, and time. This form asks for signatures of at least 5 other residents who share the same concern.
Once the form is received, the City’s Traffic Technical Action Committee (TTAC) will evaluate the concerns and respond back to you.
The Traffic Management Program is a 2-stage process in which the severity and necessity of a traffic issue is evaluated and measures implemented. Make sure to check back in with the City frequently to ensure you are involved in the decision making process.
